Practice Nurse Team Leader
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Nurse Team Leader to join our dynamic healthcare team.
* This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned nurse leader to take on a key role in the provision of high-quality, safe, and efficient nursing services within our medical centre.
Key Responsibilities:
* To lead and manage a team of nurses in delivering direct patient care activities, including administering vaccinations, medications, conducting ECGs, spirometry, and other diagnostic tests.
* To provide oversight and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring they adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standing Orders.
* To coordinate patient care and communicate with treating GPs, escalating any adverse findings as necessary.
* To undertake clinic administration activities to facilitate Nurse-Led Clinics.
* To develop and implement policies and procedures related to patient care and safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
* A minimum of 2 years' experience providing direct clinical nursing care, preferably in a primary care setting.
* Experience in chronic disease management, prevention principles, and health promotion is desirable.
* Management experience and leadership skills are highly regarded.
