Job description
Our client is a fully integrated metal manufacturing company that provides solutions across the part infrastructure industry and main roads in Queensland. With booming sales in QLD and expansion of their manufacturing arm they are looking for dedicated workshop Labourers to support their tradespeople on the day shift in their Salisbury workshop.
This role is a casual position with ongoing work and a chance to go perm for good fit.
**The role**:
Day shift 7am to 3.30pm Mon-Thur, Fridays 7am to 1pm early finish
Working and learning with skilled trades persons and production workers
Assisting with the manufacturing and assembly of various sized steel products
Heavy and unskilled labourer in the manufacture of metal products
Assist the welders, and skilled trades with manufacturing, maintenance, and repair work
General workshop duties wire brushing parts moving products around
Keeping work areas clean

About You
Previous experience in a metal workshop or metal production factory
Capable of using basic hand tools and power tools
Current drivers' licence and reliable transport
Safety first mind set and understand workshop cultures
Be strong physically fit and focused work ethic
Great communicator able to follow instructions
Team player fit into any culture
Pay rate $27 to $30
Live locally in or near too Salisbury on Brisbane's Southside
Must have full work rights to work in Australia
