We are seeking a Weekend Chef for an Aged Care facility on Sydney's Lower North Shore - near Gladesville.
The Role:
Saturday & Sunday
9am - 5:30pm
$30 per hour + loadings
40 Bed facility
You will work with your team to ensure residents’ dietary needs are met with varied and nutritious food.
You will be responsible for:
* Preparing and presenting food for the residents
* Maintaining a clean working environment
* Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
* Providing fast, effective service with a positive attitude
About You:
* Australian citizen or resident with full work rights
* Experience as a Chef in Aged Care
* Qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (advantageous)
* Strong communication skills
The successful candidate must have a current flu vaccine and be covid vaccinated. You will also be required to undertake a National Criminal History Check (Police Check) and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
