Screen & Roll are specialists in fly screens, window and door repairs, and pet doors. We've been serving the Canberra and Queanbeyan region for 20+ years and are now looking for an organised and friendly Administration Assistant to join our team.
This is an in-office, part-time role (4 hours per day, Monday to Friday). Perfect for someone who's confident with customers, enjoys variety, and has strong attention to detail.
What you'll do
You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers and help keep the office running smoothly. Tasks include:
● Customer service
○ Answering incoming calls and handling first contact enquiries
○ Providing simple quotes over the phone
○ Assisting with online enquiries and scheduling jobs
○ Greeting customers in the shop, taking payments, and handling drop-offs/pick-ups
● Administration & email management
○ Monitoring and responding to enquiries via company inboxes
○ Managing compliance and procurement paperwork (insurance, vendor forms, real estate enquiries)
○ Supporting the team with general office admin
● Scheduling & data entry (FieldPulse program)
○ Creating and updating customer profiles
○ Scheduling jobs and updating parts/costs in the system
○ Following up on leads
● Stock control
○ Monitoring small inventory and ordering supplies
(Finance-related enquiries will be forwarded to our bookkeeper.)

About you
We're looking for someone with:
● Good computer skills (MS Office, email, general systems)
● Strong communication and people skills
● The ability to stay organised and manage multiple tasks
● A positive, can-do attitude that fits well into our small, close-knit team
Bonus skills (not essential):
● Experience with FieldPulse, ServiceM8, or other field management software
● Familiarity with Xero or other accounting systems

● Pay: Based on experience, in line with Clerks – Private Sector Award (Casual or Part-time to be discussed)
