The Alcohol and Drug Service is a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality services to achieve improved outcomes for consumers, workforce, and the community. The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) will provide professional leadership and direction in the strategic development and implementation of a comprehensive consultation liaison service.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist assessments and interventions services for clients in accordance with discipline-specific scope of practice and across various settings.
* Act as a consultant to the broader Tasmanian Health Service and linked services regarding support and management of clients with alcohol and other drug issues and promote community awareness.
Skills and Qualifications
* Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary evidence-based practice used in treatment and prevention of alcohol and/or other drug dependence.
* Demonstrated capacity to effectively undertake coordination/leadership role within a multidisciplinary community alcohol and other drug service setting.
* Proven ability to contribute to quality and safety processes at the individual service level.
