About the Role
* Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals for the region.
* Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base in alignment with company objectives.
* Monitor and analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities, adjusting strategies as needed.
* Train, motivate, and manage dealers' sales teams to achieve our regional sales targets.
* Conduct regular performance evaluations and set development plans for the dealers' sales teams.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, including dealerships and distributors.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional strategies tailored to regional needs.
* Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations within the assigned regions, including sales forecasting, and inventory management.
* Ensure timely reporting of sales results and market insights to senior management.
* Identify and assess opportunities for market expansion, product positioning, and brand awareness within the regions.
* Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance our market presence.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience working in a similar role in a fast-paced environment, with a proven track record of success in strategic sales.
* Strong background in the automotive industry, particularly with electric vehicles.
* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships within a dealer network and execute successful sales strategies.
* Possesses commercial acumen and strong leadership capability.
* Proficient communication with internal & external stakeholders.
* Tertiary qualifications in business or a related discipline.
* Willingness to travel for business purposes.
