With recent increases in demand, FHS Poly is now expanding their team and are looking for a poly welder fabricator at our Seaford facility in Victoria.
This full-time position requires experience in marking and measuring to a high level of accuracy, with skills such as carpentry and cabinet making being highly desirable.

Key Responsibility:
· Custom Plastic Fabrication
General Role and Responsibilities:
· Performs fabrications from PE pipe / sheet etc including accurate mark up and measure, cutting, PE welding, trimming and finishing
· Safe operation of Band Saws, Drop Saws, Drills, CNC Machines, Butt Welders, Extrusion Welders, Socket Welders etc
· Works in a safe manner and performs a pre-start checklist before commencement of work
· Regular checking of machines during operation
· Responsible for the quality of their own work
· Exercises discretion within their level of skills and training
· Interacts harmoniously with employees
· Adapts to a changing work environment
· Communicates essential information timely and effectively
Role Requirements:
· Experience in accurate marking and measuring with background skills such as carpentry, cabinet making, boiler making or plastic poly weld fabricating.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and designs.
· Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team.
· Very high level of attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks and logs.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
· Willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
· Experience in accurate marking and measuring with background skills such as carpentry, cabinet making, boiler making or plastic / poly weld fabricating
· Exceptional customer service skills and a can-do attitude
Desirable
· Plastic Fabrication, Butt Welding, Extrusion Welding, Socket Welding
· Forklift Licence
· First-aid certification
