This role is split evenly between marketing and copywriting: you'll be driving content strategy on social, keeping us ahead of trends, and collaborating with our creative team, while also owning conversion-focused copy across the full customer journey for our clients.
If you can write sharp, persuasive words and think strategically about how they deliver results, we want to hear from you.PART-TIME 3 DAYS/WEEK - Immediate StartLOCATION: Subiaco Office (Hybrid work available)Copywriting (60%)Social Copy: Create hooks, captions, and scripts that cut through the noise and feel platform-native for Instagram, UGC ads, paid social, TikTok.
Nominal 'community management' across social media channels (during office hours) to reply to managed social account DM's.Funnel Copy: Write high-performing copy for headlines, landing pages, upsells/downsells, and checkout flows to deliver effective copy on web, email and SMS campaigns.Journey-First Writing: Thread cohesive messaging across the customer journey while adapting tactics to each stage.
Execute copy across social media, paid, e-commerce websites, email marketing and print collateral.Ensure Consistency: Maintain a clear and cohesive tone of voice, narrative, and brand messaging across all formats.
Able to switch TOV per client and brands we represent with sound fundamentals in pain/pleasure points.Direct Response Focus: Apply proven persuasion techniques to maximise clicks, conversions, and retention across key customer touchpoints, including webpages, onboarding, and retention.
Have a strong understanding of search engine optimisation principles and can write website/online copy to help drive website and AI search results.Brand Strategy: Develop brand strategies; including brand positioning, brand stories, and brand messages based on consumer data, market/competitor analysis, and research.Marketing (40%)Brainstorm & Create: Work with our creative team and wonderful clients to develop ideas and turn them into content people actually want to watch and read.Account Management: Track what's working and what's not, then adjust strategies for maximum engagement.
Reporting on clients social growth, client communication and WIP\'s/briefings.
Collaborate with both in-house and freelance designers and content creator to bring campaigns to life.Plan Ahead: Develop and maintain social content calendars aligned with marketing and campaign goals.Work Smarter with AI: Incorporate AI into your approach for ideation, testing, and scaling.Lead Creative Process: Take campaigns from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring assets are engaging and suited to each channel.Think in Metrics: Apply your understanding of CTR, CVR, AOV, MER/ROAS to guide creative strategy and decision-making.Trend Strategy: Act as our trend scout, keeping us plugged into TikTok's evolving vibe, meme culture, and shifts in digital behaviour.About You:3 years min. experience in copywriting, marketing, or a related role (Agency experience a big plus)Proven strong copywriting skills across social, digital, and performance marketing channelsProven ability to create conversion-focused copy for ads, landing pages, and retention campaignsComfortable developing and executing marketing strategies alongside creative teamsUp to date with cultural trends, meme culture, and platform shifts, especially TikTok and social-first environmentsProactive, efficient, and adaptable in a fast-paced, young + creative team settingExcellent written English: sharp, clear, and persuasiveStrong sense of ownership, with a collaborative mindset and openness to feedbackBachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, Advertising or a related fieldABOUT USGreat question!
