Randstad is hiring skilled Diesel Fitters / Diesel Mechanics to join a small, professional team at our client's Tullamarine workshop consisting of about 7 skilled techs.
This is a chance for a stable career working with specialized compressed air and power generation equipment.
We need a hands-on problem-solver who values precision and wants to be part of a down to earth, but dynamic team.
Workshop Focus
Servicing, fault-finding, breakdowns, and preventative maintenance, all done in-house at Tullamarine.
The Equipment
Working on industrial equipment, especially Diesel Generators and Air Compressors (experience here is a huge bonus).
Your Toolkit
Applying your strong skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
The Goal
Installation, complex repairs, and ensuring maximum runtime for client equipment.
Pay & Hours
Pay Rate: $
to $
per hour + Overtime + Super (based on your experience).
Roster: Straight Day Shift, Monday to Friday.
Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Get your 38 hours done and have your evenings guaranteed.

Requirements
What you would need.
You must be able to prove:
A recognised Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic / Diesel Fitter / Mechanical Fitter (Cert III in Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or equivalent).
Genuine, hands-on experience with complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
A mindset for problem-solving and excellent attention to detail.
