What you will do
* Find and win new business across key sectors
* Build a steady pipeline through research, outreach and industry engagement
* Lead discovery, proposals and closing conversations for high value opportunities
* Represent Valen across Australia and The Pacific
* Develop territory growth plans using clear market insight
* Maintain strong internal communication with technical and commercial colleagues
* Log activity, track progress and record conversations accurately in our CRM
* Use the Valen Sales Playbook to guide outreach, structure the process and keep deals moving
What you bring
* Proven experience in business development or sales within technical or industrial markets
* Confidence discussing operational requirements with field teams, engineers and commercial leaders
* Steady prospecting habits and a strong closing record
* Clear communication, structured thinking and sound judgement
* Solid CRM discipline and comfort with HubSpot and SharePoint
* Background in batteries, telecommunications or energy storage is helpful but not required
