What you will do
Find and win new business across key sectors
Build a steady pipeline through research, outreach and industry engagement
Lead discovery, proposals and closing conversations for high value opportunities
Represent Valen across Australia and The Pacific
Develop territory growth plans using clear market insight
Maintain strong internal communication with technical and commercial colleagues
Log activity, track progress and record conversations accurately in our CRM
Use the Valen Sales Playbook to guide outreach, structure the process and keep deals moving
What you bring
Proven experience in business development or sales within technical or industrial markets
Confidence discussing operational requirements with field teams, engineers and commercial leaders
Steady prospecting habits and a strong closing record
Clear communication, structured thinking and sound judgement
Solid CRM discipline and comfort with HubSpot and SharePoint
Background in batteries, telecommunications or energy storage is helpful but not required
