The Motorcycle Instructor - HART VIC is a permanent-full time role based at Kilsyth, VIC.
This role is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of any course or activity run by HART in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures, whilst working towards satisfying the performance criteria of the required Competency Standards as directed by the HART Manager.
This role comes with a fully maintained Honda Motorcycle.
Profile description:
How you'll make an impact
* Instruct new and experienced students in all aspects of best practice motorcycle riding
* Assess students in VicRoads Learner Permit and Licencing courses
* Maintain the safety of all people attending a HART training course
* Work with dynamic groups of people including the general public
* Perform day to day motorcycle maintenance including daily inspections, fuelling and cleaning
* Project an image of professionalism and commitment to excellence at all times
* Satisfy performance criteria as directed by the Senior Riding Instructor and the Manager of HART Victoria
What you'll bring to Honda
* A valid full Victorian motorcycle licence with a recent history of regular riding experience, and no continual traffic infringements
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with and teach students of all ages and backgrounds
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address any issues that may arise during training sessions
* A passion for best practice motorcycling and a genuine desire to share your knowledge and skills with others
* Flexible availability including weekends and a rotating roster
* Background in training or instruction is highly regarded, but not essential
* Working with Children Check (WWC) is desired, but not essential
Don't have Training qualifications? No problem!
The right applicant will be enrolled into the three Training and Assessment units as part of your initial training period. This is a fantastic opportunity to get paid to gain Nationally Accredited Qualifications, while doing what you love!
