We are currently seeking a Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities : Create detailed sketches, charts, technical drawings, plans, and designs for civil engineering projects including drainage systems, structural steel, and other infrastructure works. Prepare and modify drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, 12D or similar). Interpret engineering specifications, work instructions, and project documentation. Conduct and oversee fieldwork activities and coordinate laboratory testing where required. Gather and analyse technical data and perform relevant calculations. Estimate material quantities and assist with cost planning. Ensure completed works comply with specifications, Australian Standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations. Inspect civil engineering projects, coordinate maintenance activities, and supervise repair works where necessary. Liaise with engineers, architects, surveyors, project managers, and site teams to ensure accurate project delivery. About You : Proven experience in civil drafting and infrastructure projects. Strong proficiency in civil design software. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
