The Opportunity
Due to continued business growth, we seek an experienced and accomplished Residential Draftsperson to join our dynamic drafting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional looking to advance their career with a respected builder.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and produce detailed working drawings for premium custom homes, innovative display properties, and select government and multi-unit development projects
* Create comprehensive technical documentation to specification
* Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality drawings
* Coordinate and monitor external consultant deliverables
* Conduct thorough quality reviews of all working drawings for accuracy and compliance
* Maintain current drawing records throughout the construction lifecycle to support seamless project execution
* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
* 3+ years of professional drafting experience in Western Australia's residential construction sector
* In-depth knowledge of R-Codes and local council regulations
* Advanced proficiency with ArchiCAD 22 or later
* Comprehensive understanding of single and two-storey residential construction (timber frame and traditional methods)
* Exceptional attention to detail with outstanding presentation standards
* Strong collaborative skills and commitment to team success
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Qualities:
* Knowledge of Current NCC and Australian Standards and how to navigate them
* Knowledge of alternative construction methodologies
* Experience with Twinmotion 3D rendering software
* Demonstrated creative design capabilities
