Qualifications & Responsibilities
* You are an experienced financial services lawyer with strong regulatory experience.
* You have experience in retail migrations and can advise on bespoke migration journeys for retail and business customers.
* You are familiar with the Corporations Act, Design & Distribution Obligations, ASIC Act, Banking Code of Practice, Privacy Act, ePayments Code.
* You can advise on customer communications for compliance with misleading and deceptive obligations and consistency with T&C, systems and processes, including reviewing app screens, marketing campaigns, and advising on contract variations and FAQs to support customers through the migration.
* You can advise on building new products and application and internet functionality required for migrated customers to use, including drafting T&C changes, advising on the build's compliance with regulatory obligations, and advising on Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO) compliance.
* You can advise on possible warranty and indemnity claims.
* You can advise on the TSA, including advising on change requests and variations.
* You can hit the ground running, work closely with a fast‐paced team, and deliver quality legal advice at pace.
* You have a minimum of 6 years' experience.
* You can understand and adapt to the needs of the business.
* You hold a current practising certificate.
* You have the right to live and work in Australia.
