Senior Educator Opportunity
Paddington Out of School Care is a non-profit service providing high-quality care in a fun, safe, and friendly environment.
We are seeking a passionate Senior Educator for a flexible, permanent part-time position with full-time opportunities during school holidays. In this leadership role, you'll supervise children aged 5-12 years while supporting the Coordinator and Vacation Care Manager with diverse administrative tasks including risk assessments, activity programming, policy maintenance, and content creation.
This is an ideal hybrid work arrangement that balances hands-on time with children and remote administrative responsibilities. As a lead educator, you'll help guide the team during vacation care programs and excursions, serve as a Responsible Person on shift, and play a key role in delivering quality educational experiences in both floor leadership and behind-the-scenes coordination.

Our services have been serving the Paddington community for over 35 years, offering a place where children can play and learn, staffed by professional educators who value families and the community.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Educator, your key responsibilities will include:
* Supervising children aged 5-12 years
* Supporting the Coordinator and Vacation Care Manager with administrative tasks
* Assisting with risk assessments, activity programming, and policy maintenance
* Creating engaging content for our social media channels
* Working collaboratively with the team to deliver quality educational experiences
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A valid Working With Children Check
* Thorough reference checks
* Willingness to obtain a national police criminal history check
* A First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Relevant experience working with children
* Flexibility with availability
* Passion, commitment, and positivity
* Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and 'My Time Our Place'
