At Active OOSH (Out of School Hours), we are passionate about providing high-quality care and education to children in a fun, safe and nurturing environment.
We are looking for casual Educators in the Manning area for the December-January holiday period, with the potential for ongoing work.
If you love interacting with children aged between 5-12 years, working with a team, and making an impact in your local community, this is the role for you Active OOSH offers flexible work hours, competitive rates, and a supportive work environment.
As an Educator, you will be responsible for interacting with children, providing a supportive environment and helping to oversee children's activities.
Educators could work up to 38 hours per week in the school holiday period with varying shifts available between 7:00am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and oversee fun holiday activities, games and excursions.
* Engage with children and provide supervision to ensure their safety.
* Assist with tasks to contribute to a safe and smooth-running service for children and their families.
* Communicate with parents and caregivers when needed.
What We're Looking For
* Availability during the upcoming school holiday period.
* Experience working with children is advantageous but not essential.
* The ability to work well as part of a team and the ability to work autonomously.
* Good observation skills with an awareness of surroundings.
* Reliable team members with good communication and relationship-building skills.
* A current NSW Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain).
Hourly rates will vary depending on age and prior qualifications - approx. $30-$45 per hour plus allowances.
