The HR Business Partner role will define and drive a people agenda to deliver business strategy and high-performance culture. As a trusted partner, this role works with business leaders to ensure people initiatives attract, develop and retain talent.

Our team produces propellants, explosives and munitions for defence and commercial uses. With ongoing investment in research and development, we produce some of the world's most high-performing guided weapons and explosive ordnance systems.

Initially working at both our Benalla and Mulwala sites, before being based at Mulwala, your role purpose is to:

- Drive and challenge change through partnering with key stakeholders to deliver the underpinning People Plan
- Evaluate and recommend mechanisms resulting in a high-performance culture
- Influence leaders, managers and employees to embrace organisational change and shift to a high-performance culture
- Innovate HR solutions and provide thought leadership to meet business objectives
- Analyse the external environment, business and people-related trends to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide advice and consultancy to Line Managers on people management issues and case management services
- Provide data-driven insights to the leadership team and relevant HR function that underpin the business and people strategy
- Shape and drive initiatives creating higher employee engagement with the HR and Leadership teams
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and Company HR requirements

Key skills and qualifications include:

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field advantageous or equivalent experience
- Employee Relations Experience

- Talent and Capability Builder
- Background in change management principles and practices
- Strong experience in the development and delivery of HR strategy and projects
- Experience negotiating / supporting Enterprise Agreement negotiation
