About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Program Director to join our team and lead the planning, delivery and implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for the Department of Finance.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project management, stakeholder engagement, communication and whole-of-government frameworks and processes. They will work collaboratively with divisions from across the Department of Finance to cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including at senior levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning, delivery and implementation of the ERP system.
* Undertake project management activities, including project planning and documentation, implementation, monitoring and reporting on progress, providing recommendations about managing risk, and identifying and resolving problems.
* Engage with high-level stakeholders, including the ability to anticipate potential issues/risks and devise solutions/mitigations with an outcome focus.
* Provide tactical, operational and strategic levels of engagement, decision making and advice through Project Workshops and other communication and engagement channels.
* Build capability, manage a complex workload effectively and deliver quality outputs and outcomes.
* Exercise sound judgement and provide timely and quality advice to Senior Executives and key stakeholders.
* Work collaboratively with Project Managers within the Branch to ensure resources are effectively allocated across projects and facilitate cooperation and partnerships across Commonwealth Agencies.
* Make recommendations for continuous improvement and transformations in ERP Uplift, including sharing project management expertise, communicating with influence, mentoring and training to other staff to build team capacity.
* Oversee the end-to-end approach to market process and conduct comprehensive analysis of vendor proposals to inform decision making.
