Role Description
This full-time, on-site Chef de Partie role is based in Brisbane, QLD. The Chef de Partie will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes as part of a dynamic culinary team. Key responsibilities include ensuring all food preparation areas comply with hygiene and safety standards, mentoring junior kitchen staff, monitoring food stock and supplies, and contributing to menu development. The Chef de Partie will work collaboratively to maintain high standards and continuously enhance the guest dining experience.
Qualifications
* Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
* Experience in managing kitchen operations, maintaining hygiene standards, and monitoring inventory
* Ability to mentor and train junior kitchen staff while maintaining a positive and supportive work environment
* Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* A genuine passion for the culinary arts and delivering exceptional dining experiences
* Formal culinary qualifications and relevant industry experience
* Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and commitment to adhering to them
