Project Officer: Strategic Research Initiatives
We are seeking a skilled Project Officer to contribute to our strategic research initiatives, addressing profound global health challenges. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in areas such as prevention and health equity, curing chronic disease, and transforming our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of Faculty projects across various stages of the project lifecycle.
* Coordinate events and meetings, including workshops and preparation of materials for academic leadership teams and committees.
* Develop stakeholder relationships, maintaining strong connections with internal and external partners to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
* Prepare reports and documentation, drafting written reports, creating presentation slides, and assisting in preparing project materials for senior leadership.
Requirements:
* A well-organized and proactive professional with excellent communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic research environment.
* Possess relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience.
* Experience in project administration or executive assistance, preferably in a research, university, or healthcare setting.
* Demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Excel in written and verbal communication, with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels.
* Be proficient in standard application software, including Microsoft Office suite and video conferencing tools.
