Sales and Business Development Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Business Development Executive to lead the growth of our Data Services portfolio in Australia. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in cloud data platforms, understands the business impact of AI, and can translate customer challenges into actionable solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of Data Services, including advisory, implementation, and managed services. They will build and maintain strong customer relationships, identifying and qualifying net new opportunities across multiple industries and account segments.

* Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Account Managers, Enterprise Architects, and Technical/Practice Leads, to align customer goals with solution design and delivery capabilities.
* Engage key partners to co-sell, bundle, or jointly position services to accelerate customer outcomes.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging trends across Generative AI, AI Agents, ML Ops, LLM integration, and data platform modernisation.

What We Need:

* Existing full-time work rights in Australia.
* Ability to commute to our office and visit customers in Melbourne or Sydney.
* Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across internal and external stakeholders.
* A naturally curious mindset, with a strong desire to understand emerging technologies, customer challenges, and how innovation in Data & AI can drive business value.

Requirements:

* 5+ years experience in enterprise technology sales or pre-sales, with a focus on data platforms, analytics, or artificial intelligence solutions.
* Deep understanding of how data and AI can solve real-world business challenges across various industries.
* Able to translate complex technical topics into commercially relevant conversations.
* Proven ability to lead complex, multi-party sales engagements across both IT and line-of-business (LOB) stakeholders.


Preferred Qualifications

* Familiarity with hyperscaler-native and third-party platforms.
* Understanding of AI/ML lifecycle, including model development, deployment, governance, and ethical considerations.
* Strong understanding of cloud economics and how to structure service offerings around platform spend and customer ROI.
