Robert Half are working with a leading Manufacturing and Research company based in South Perth, renowned for their commitment to excellence and innovation their industry.
They are currently seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate.
This role will see you working closely with the Accountant contributing to the smooth operation of the finance department and gaining valuable experience in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
2. Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records
3. Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
4. Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
5. Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
6. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
7. Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed
Requirements:
8. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
9. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
10. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
11. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
12. Strong organisational and time-management skills
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
14. Effective communication skills
15. Be immediately available (or available on a few days notice)
