We are seeking an Administration Clerk - Urgent Care/Medical Imaging to work in a Part Time (24 hours/fortnight) capacity based at Nhill.
ABOUT THE ROLE

* The Administration Clerk in Urgent Care/Medical Imaging Departments is responsible for a variety of tasks related to patient reception, appointment scheduling, and administration support.
* This role ensures the smooth operation of both departments by providing essential administrative services to the radiologists, specialists and consumers.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential:
* Have good communication and organisational skills.
* Have previous experience dealing with public ideally in a receptionist role.
* The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and maintain accurate records.
* Have the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable:
* Have experience with computerised patient management systems and data entry and Radiology Information Systems (RIS).
* Are familiar with medical terminology and procedures is beneficial.
PRE-REQUISITES:
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
* Working with Children Check.
* Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives.
* Australian Driver’s License.
KEY RESPONSBILITIES
* Greeting and registering consumers, processing referrals, and managing patient flow in both the Urgent Care Centre and Medical Imaging departments.
* Scheduling appointments for various medical imaging procedures, ensuring accurate scheduling and providing necessary preparation instructions to the consumer.
* Entering consumer information into relevant systems, maintaining accurate records, and generating reports as required.
* Are responsible for processing invoices for the medical imaging department services provided to private patients, Medicare and Department of Veteran Affairs.
