Job Title
As a Sales Specialist focused on Cables and Electrical products, you will play a crucial role in servicing existing customers and expanding our reach in the market.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the sales pipeline to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
* Interpret product benefits and technical information to turn them into advantages for customers.
* Develop and execute a sales strategy to generate new opportunities focusing on key products and brands.
* Engage with customers through regular visits and events, including conferences and morning teas.
* Attend product training sessions held locally and by suppliers.
* Collaborate closely with applications and product management teams to progress identified opportunities.
* Build strong relationships with key customer contacts - decision makers and influencers.
* Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure a positive customer experience.
* Stay up-to-date with competitor activity and market trends in your territory to support product management strategy development.
* Regularly report on in-field activities and opportunity progress.
Requirements

* Demonstrable understanding and recent exposure to the Cable and Electrical Wholesaler market, including knowledge and experience with key customers in this space.
