About the Role
As the Principal Psychologist, you will lead and coordinate the delivery of clinical services across the Centre. Approximately 30% of your role will be conducting assessments and providing intervention to a range of complex clients, with the remaining portion providing high quality leadership and support. You will supervise a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers and AOD Specialists, oversee offence-specific and offence-related interventions, and contribute to program development that supports prisoner wellbeing and rehabilitation. This role balances clinical depth with operational oversight and is suited to a high-impact, hands-on leader.
Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate the delivery of clinical services across the Centre.
* Provide high quality supervision to a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers and AOD Specialists.
* Oversee offence-specific and offence-related interventions.
* Contribute to program development that supports prisoner wellbeing and rehabilitation.
* Balance clinical depth with operational oversight as a hands-on leader.
What you bring
* Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
* Experience supervising or mentoring clinical staff.
* Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
* A collaborative, outcomes-focused approach.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
* Resilience, authenticity and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
* Interest in innovative rehabilitation models and multidisciplinary teamwork.
Bonus points if you have:
* Experience in forensic, correctional or complex mental health settings.
* Board-approved supervisor status.
