About the Role
You will be responsible for:
* Delivering comprehensive designs and documentation for civil infrastructure projects.
* Coordinating projects and proposals with potential for office and site-based works.
* Designing major and minor drainage infrastructure with an understanding of hydrological principles.
* Project managing small-to-medium projects, supporting large projects as part of a project team.
* Undertaking preliminary and final designs, preparing concept drawings, and engaging in design reviews.
* SUPPORTING THE WELL-BEING, DEVELOPMENT, AND RESOURCING OF TEAM MEMBERS.
* Participating in client management and business development.
* Playing an active role in the business groups through regular meetings, workshops, training and business planning.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in a similar consultancy environment undertaking civil design of freeways, rural, urban, and local roads.
They should have relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) or demonstrated relevant work experience in Civil Design.
Demonstrated knowledge of working with local authorities and local council is also required.
A proficient understanding of software such as AutoCad is necessary.
Knowledge and application of Austroads, TMR, and Local Government standards is essential.
Experience in the planning, development, design, and management of civil and multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects is highly valued.
The ability to develop design documentation including design reports, technical specifications, drawings, BOQ's and cost estimates is important.
