Nestled in the lush, tropical surrounds of Fannie Bay, our venue is a beacon for premier events, and we are seeking an exceptional General Manager of Hospitality to elevate our operations to new heights.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with a high-performing Senior Executive team, this strategic yet hands-on leadership role offers a rare opportunity to shape guest experiences and drive revenue at one of the Northern Territory’s most iconic venues.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership to the Hospitality teams, driving bookings across a diverse portfolio of events—from race days, Silks, gaming and conferences.
* Design and implement innovative food and beverage strategies that enhance guest satisfaction and boost revenue.
* Build and maintain cost-effective partnerships with suppliers and industry stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
* Foster a high-performance culture that promotes collaboration, morale, and service excellence across all departments.
* Lead the development and delivery of training programs in partnership with the Chief People Officer, ensuring consistent service quality.
* Drive continuous improvement through effective change management and process optimisation.

Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience in hospitality management, with a strong background in large-scale events and high-volume operations.
* Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse teams through complex and fast-paced environments.
* Outstanding communication, strategic planning, fiscal management and organisational skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, especially during peak season (June to August).
