Meet the Security team
Our Security team is responsible for securing LEAP’s employees, information, infrastructure and application from cyber-attacks. This involves working with various stakeholders internal and external to best ensure security practices.
We are looking for a Junior Information Security Engineer to join our team to support incident monitoring and response activities. This will include maintaining security systems, addressing vulnerabilities, testing new tools, researching new threats and responding to security queries.
What you’ll do
* Monitoring security dashboards and alerts
* Responding to information security events
* Creating new ways to solve existing security issues
* Developing automation scripts to handle and track systems
* Performing vulnerability testing, risk analysis and security assessments
* Compiling security findings in documentation
* Communicating requirements to relevant stakeholders
* Performing raw data review to identify malicious activity for which signatures/content do not exist
* Working with management to define/update standard operating procedures and response plans
What you’ll bring
* Excellent communication skills and deep knowledge of developer tools
* Ability to find simple solutions to existing complex problems and workflows
* Demonstrated ability for creative and critical thinking
* Analytical skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities
