Task & Responsibilities
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Head Chef, focusing on the pasta section while also taking a leadership role in the wider kitchen. From rolling sfoglia by hand to shaping filled pasta, gnocci, and regional varieties, you will bring both technical skill and passion for tradition.
Crucially, you will be able to run the kitchen independently when required, ensuring smooth service, consistent quality, and a professional standard across every dish.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in Italian cuisine.
* Skilled in preparing and cooking fresh egg pasta and other regional Italian dishes.
* Confidence and ability to manage the kitchen when the Head Chef is not present.
* Strong organisational skills and leadership qualities.
* Understanding of regional Italian cooking, especially Emilia‑Romagna.
* A positive team player with attention to detail and consistency.
