The Role
Support the implementation of the source to distribute value chain including the development of performance metrics in support of benefits reporting. Support the development of the ERP system through the analysis and prioritisation of requested system enhancements including the development of strategic options papers. Analysis to include an assessment informed by the delivery agent of the effort and time required to deliver the required system changes.
Support increased value chain efficiency through incident ticket analysis from Service Now. Support the development of strategic communications to aid the development, implementation and ongoing enhancement of the source to distribute value chain.
About our Team
The Directorate of Logistics Systems transition (DLST) is located in Canberra and Melbourne, and is one of two directorates within the Logistics Systems Branch.
The Directorate consists of a blended APS, ADF and contractor workforce, many with deep subject matter expertise and specialist skills. It is agile to meet the changing business demands of the organisation, including embracing value chains in the ERP environment.
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be capable of working with a wide variety of customers and stakeholders. You will have a broad understanding of what is required to implement and enhance the source to distribute value chain.
You will be able to prioritise in a dynamic environment and remain flexible, agile and adaptable.
Your previous experience in logistics, along with the ability to extrapolate these experiences within the SAP value chain environment, will be highly regarded. Equally experiences working with value chains and the ability to apply them across Defence's logistics environment will be highly regarded.
