A true industry leader in supplying the food service sector, to appoint an experienced Sales Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a results driven professional in meat sales, who loves building relationships, motivating a team and achieving ambitious yield targets.
The Role:
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives.
* Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to exceed revenue and KPI targets.
* Manage key client accounts and foster long term customer relationships.
* Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends.
* Deliver accurate sales forecasts, reports and insights to the leadership team.
* Oversee tenders and RFPs, ensuring timely, high quality submissions.
* Monitor sales margins and ensure profitability targets are met.
* Collaborate closely with the General Manager and Managing Director to align business plans within the business.
The Candidate:
* We're looking for a strategic, hands on leader with a passion for meat sales and people development.
* Proven success as a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Representative in a fast paced food service sales environment.
* Strong ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels.
* Experience building and executing sales strategies that deliver growth.
* Solid business sense and industry expertise. Meat or food manufacturing experience highly regarded.
* Exceptional coaching and team leadership skills.
