About the Role
As Assistant Director, you'll work closely with the Centre Director to lead the day-to-day operations and support the strategic direction of our service. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you will:
Support overall leadership and management of the centre
Ensure high-quality programming aligned with the EYLF and the Dripstone Way
Promote regulatory compliance, best practice, and continuous improvement
Lead and mentor educators, fostering a culture of professional growth
Strengthen relationships with families and the local community
Deputise for the Centre Director as required
Support curriculum development, assessments, and professional development aligned with our Dripstone way and QIP goals
What We're Looking For
We're after someone who is not only experienced, but also passionate about inspiring educators and empowering children to thrive. You'll need:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
At least 1 year in a senior role (e.g. Room Leader or Assistant Director)
Strong knowledge of NQF, National Law & Regulations, EYLF
Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and people management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Confidence to act as the Responsible Person and support all operational areas in the Director's absence
Current First Aid, CPR, WWCC (Ochre Card), and accredited Child Protection training
