About the Role
CohesiveTec is seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations during an exciting phase of accelerated growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for overseeing daily production while also driving strategic improvements across safety, efficiency, and output. You will play a critical role in scaling our operations, improving processes, and building a high-performing production team.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets across safety, quality, delivery, and cost
* Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring full compliance with all WHS and environmental regulations
* Implement and embed lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
* Identify and execute opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimise processes
* Work closely with Sales, Procurement, and Supply Chain to align production with business demand
* Develop, coach, and lead the production team to maintain high performance and accountability
* Monitor KPIs, analyse production data, and provide insights to support decision-making
* Ensure consistent product quality and adherence to company and regulatory standards
* Support operational planning, including capacity, labour, and resource allocation
About You
* Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Production Manager or senior supervisory role within manufacturing
* Experience in chemical, process, or high-compliance manufacturing environments is highly regarded (but not essential)
* Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
* Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and implement change
* Commercially minded, with the ability to balance efficiency, cost, and quality outcomes
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
* Proficiency in production systems, reporting tools, and KPI tracking
* Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline
