We are seeking a dedicated and passionate commis chef to assist our senior chefs with daily prep and presentation of dishes. This role requires the ability to work in a large team environment, maintain a clean and organized station, and ensure hygiene and safety compliance.
Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights or visa authorisation. We are an equal opportunity employer.
The successful candidate will possess:
* A Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery
* Minimum 2 years full-time experience in high-volume commercial kitchen operations
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing menu items according to recipe specifications
* Maintaining stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring efficient use of resources
* Ensuring adherence to food safety standards at all times during food preparation, cooking, plating, serving practices including storage maintenance cleaning sanitizing equipment utensils supplies etc
