Responsibilities
1. Provide thought leadership on how clients can achieve their data strategies and objectives.
2. Ability to analyzeplex situations and to derive workable actions and ability to constructively challenge requirements and current state to increase overall value to the firm.
3. Lead and Architect migration of enterprise on-prem data environment to Snowflake with performance and reliability.
4. Assess and understand the existing EDW workloads and reporting/ analytics to architect value / oue-based target state architecture and roadmap for execution.
5. Lead cross-functional, cross-organisation initiatives that drive innovative solutions on Snowflake.
6. Act as conduit between client and our delivery team to ensure program delivery is aligned with target state architecture and guiding principles.
7. Keep abreast of Data & AI revolution in the market to provide technical and business acumen that drive reference architectures and thought leadership to clients.
8. Deliver presentations to internal & external audiences.
9. Drive opportunity pursuits for Cloud Data Migration and Data Modernization initiatives.
10. Mentor and lead other Data Architects/ Solution architects and infuse best practices across a broader Data & AImunity.
What You'll Bring
11. A wide variety of degrees will be considered but a typical candidate may have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant domain such as Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Informatics or related technical field. However, work experience will be of equal, if not greater, importance
12. Demonstrated experience within Consulting and the ability to effectively advise clients on Data and Analytics specific solutions is highly desirable with 3-5 or more years of hands-on development design and develop applications using Snowflake is highly desirable.
13. In depth understanding of Snowflake Architecture including SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Snowpark, performance tuning,pute, and storage.
14. Hands on experience in Teradata/Cloudera and/or other Data Warehouse platforms. Must have migration experience from legacy data warehouse to Snowflake.
15. Broad experience across Cloud architecture, DevOps, Networking, Machine Learning, Security is beneficial.
16. Stakeholder management andmunication skills, including prioritising, problem solving and interpersonal relationship building.
