About the Role
As Regional Operations Manager within Aurizon's Bulk West team, based in Kwinana, you will play a pivotal leadership role in the performance, safety, and long‐term success of our South‐West rail operations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead operational delivery, build trusted customer partnerships, and drive the safe, reliable, and commercially effective execution of supply chain services.
You will:
* Provide leadership across daily rail operations within the Bulk West network, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of freight.
* Lead the development and execution of strategies that strengthen safety leadership across the region.
* Empower, support and manage regional operations leaders to deliver outstanding people, safety, and performance outcomes.
* Drive customer outcomes by consistently achieving and exceeding operational performance expectations.
* Oversee the end‐to‐end supply chain and P&L accountability for South‐West rail operations.
* Partner with key stakeholders to identify, prioritise, and deliver continuous improvement opportunities.
* Mitigate risk while delivering strategic priorities and positioning the region for sustainable growth.
* Contribute to the development and execution of short‐, medium‐, and long‐term strategic plans for the region.
* Build and sustain strong internal and external relationships that support growth across the Bulk pipeline.
