We are seeking a high-caliber Outside Sales Executive to drive growth within an assigned bank partner and territory. This role is pivotal in expanding our partner bank's portfolio by building strong relationships, training bank personnel on our products and services, and managing the full sales cycle of referred clients. The ideal candidate is a hunter, always seeking new business opportunities and treating the assigned territory as their own business. Success in this role is measured by increasing referrals, closing deals, and fostering long-term client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional in the merchant services and fintech industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Functions

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner bank personnel to generate referrals and drive sales growth.
- Obtain merchant statements from prospective clients, assess their card services needs, and present tailored proposals that address those needs.
- Conduct outbound sales efforts via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions to secure new business beyond bank referrals.
- Own the entire sales cycle – from initial outreach and referral management to closing deals and onboarding clients.
- Drive year-over-year (YoY) portfolio growth by successfully converting bank-generated referrals into loyal clients.
- Sell merchant services, including credit and debit card processing, payment terminals, and other financial technology solutions.
- Maintain an active and well-documented sales pipeline, ensuring CRM updates are completed daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Evaluate the costs and revenue of agreements to ensure long-term profitability for both the company and the client.

Additional Responsibilities

- Analyze business trends and advise clients on potential market fluctuations affecting their payment processing needs.
- Educate bank staff on our suite of merchant services and Fintech solutions to enhance their ability to identify and refer potential clients.
- Research, monitor, and advise management of client risk and/or issues, facts and opinions when opening an account.
- Make every attempt to save accounts that have communicated dissatisfaction or are changing for any reason.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Essential Requirements

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and educate bank partners and potential clients.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of operating independently within an assigned territory.

Education & Experience

- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, recent account acquisition, and relationship management in a service-based business.
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in fintech or the financial industry.
- Experience with CRM tools and the ability to maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities.
