The role of Project Manager is a highly demanding and rewarding position that requires strong leadership and project management skills. As the leader of subdivision and road infrastructure projects, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of project delivery from inception to handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage subdivision and civil infrastructure projects across Queensland, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure efficient project delivery.
* Liaise with developers, local councils, service authorities, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
* Lead site teams, promoting strong communication, compliance, and productivity to achieve project goals.
* Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards, managing subcontractor performance and driving high standards of workmanship.
* Oversee project reporting, documentation, and progress claims, identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
* Proven experience in managing subdivision and/or road infrastructure projects, demonstrating strong leadership and project management skills.
* Background in civil contracting or construction, with at least 5 years of project management experience.
* Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and technical skills, including ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
* Excellent understanding of construction safety and quality standards, with tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
* Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
