Featuring every aspect of exercise from weights to cardio, swimming or dance, boxing to cycling. The Role
Genesis is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Group Exercise Instructors to work with a great team. If you think you are a star performer packing classes with your passion, skill and with the support of the world's leading then Genesis Fitness is for you.
Responsibilities
* Work as many as you like, with up to 60 classes per week at our clubs
* Lead group exercise classes in disciplines such as freestyle, yoga, Pilates, barre, Zumba or reformer Pilates
* Maintain professionalism and high standards of customer service and communication
* Collaborate with the team to promote a positive fitness community
* Work evenings and weekends as required
Qualifications & Requirements
* Cert III in Fitness, Fitness Leaders Course, Exercise to Music Module or Group Exercise Leader Les Mills (GEL)
* Willingness to complete Freestyle Instructor course if required
* Working with Children Check
* Current Senior First Aid Certificate
* Current CPR Certificate
* Infection Control Training certificate (COVID-19)
* Relevant Program Certification (e.g., Yoga, Barre, Boxing, Zumba, Pilates)
* Current fitness registration with Fitness Australia or relevant body preferred
* Agree to undergo police check as part of the employment process
* Driven to success with friendly can do attitude
* Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential
* Successful applicants will be required to obtain a national police check and a Working with Children check
Preferred
Previous industry experience is highly regarded. Free style Instructor course will be completed if not already completed.
