In our Service Group, we bundle all components that are "consumed" or worn out during the regular running of equipment and require predictable replenishment. Through our engineering, design, and materials expertise we can make a big impact on increasing the productivity of our customers' operations. As a key member of our Consumable Service Line leadership team, you will drive our screen, trommel, Centrifuge and Wear solutions lifecycle business in both new and existing markets to increase market share. We are seeking a customer centric individual with demonstrated experience in value based strategic sales to strengthen our team and deliver the strategy.
Responsibilities
* Sales and business development, including the support and indirect management of regional sales teams within the product line.
* Development of growth strategies.
* Managing customer relationships, improving aftermarket retention and increasing client base.
* Develop new business models for the service business line.
* Manage and review business proposals and contracts to clearly detail the value proposition.
* Deliver sales training and ongoing support, developing marketing materials.
* Supply chain and manufacturing support.
* Strive for continuous improvements in our "Safety First" and Quality-focused culture.
* Grow, develop, engage, and motivate a large cross functional and diverse team (sales and product support teams) to continually increase customer satisfaction.
* Forecast sales targets and support the sales team in meeting these targets.
* Submit regular sales and product reports and ensure data integrity.
* Ensure compliance within the company's CRM, ERP and related systems.
* Gather and manage the flow of market, product, and customer intelligence for the service line.
* Travel – Regular travel is expected in this role, up to 50% time. Volumes will vary based on the requirements of the role.
Qualifications
* At least 10 years within the mineral processing industry.
* Relevant, direct experience with classification technologies.
* A high level of understanding of mining wear solutions, specifically polyurethane and rubber manufacturing processes, will be highly regarded.
* Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
* At least 5 years' experience in a technical specialist role with demonstrable success in developing sustainable solutions to support the sales effort to increase market share and maximise client productivity and efficiency.
* Existing strong network of key stakeholders within mineral processing industry.
* Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships both internally and with external clients with strong customer service skills.
* Demonstrated business acumen to develop realistic business plans with stretch targets and the clear plan to reach those targets.
* Experience utilizing ERP database systems (e.g., Oracle, Citrix / Epicor, SAP or similar).
