About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to be part of a growing organisation. RNC is looking for an experienced warehouse lead who is looking to further their experience in a challenging environment and play to their strengths.
You will be an integral part of the day to day operations of the business. You will need to be able to work unsupervised and comfortable to be part of a team, and have the ability to manage a team and bring out the best in them.
The role will be based at our Scoresby site.
Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of outbound Warehouse
• Ensure the team follow all instructions and tasks given throughout the day
• Working with speed and precision to complete all tasks
• Monitoring & maintaining effective inbound and outbound goods processes
• Ensure all orders for Client Service, Production, and Retail are picked and loaded efficiently the day prior.
• Effective communication across multiple departments
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Ensuring the warehouse is operating at an efficient capacity
• Ensure that you are constantly learning and building on your knowledge base
• Liaising daily with the Head of Operations regarding inventory status and process updates
• Displaying initiative to improve current processes and implement changes
• There will be occasional Saturday shifts that may need to be covered
The successful applicant will:
Required work experience:
• Qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related Warehouse Operations field
• Have experience in a warehouse / distribution facility
• Have leaded a team of minimum 4
• Have a current Victorian Forklift License
• Have experience in a warehouse / distribution facility
• Have a sound knowledge of Melbourne roads
• Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg regularly when required
• Have the ability to communicate and work in a team environment
• Proven leadership experience
