The Role:
The Facilities Officer supports the effective operation of Myli by coordinating facilities and maintenance activities across the organisation. This includes managing repairs, supporting compliance requirements, and ensuring buildings and equipment are safe and well maintained.
As required, this role involves travel between Myli sites By maintaining safe, functional spaces, the Facilities Officer helps ensure libraries remain welcoming and fit for purpose for both staff and the community.

This position will require the applicant to:
* Travel across Myli sites as required to support facilities and maintenance needs
* Coordinate and respond to day-to-day facilities and maintenance requests
* Liaise with internal teams and external contractors to organise repairs and works
* Support workplace health and safety and compliance activities across sites
* Undertake basic inspections, checks and reporting related to buildings and equipment
* Use internal systems to log, track and follow up facilities issues
An ideal candidate for this position would be someone who possesses:
* Experience in facilities, maintenance, or a similar hands-on role, or a willingness to learn on the job
* A practical understanding of workplace health and safety, or the ability to build this knowledge with support and training
* The ability to work independently across multiple sites and manage tasks in a planned, organised way
* Clear communication skills and the confidence to liaise with contractors and internal teams
* A current driver's licence and the ability to travel between Myli sites as required

This position is offered on a full-time basis at Band 4 (EBL38-4A), with a salary range of $66,989 - $72,492 plus superannuation. (Employment with Myli is subject to a successful Working with Children Check and Police Check)
