Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a range of multimedia content for the Office of Chief Minister including but not limited to social media videos, infographics, photography, electronic communications, and other digital content as required.
* Manage a broad range of communication projects working with a small team under strict deadlines.
* Showcase best-practice digital innovation to meet modern communication needs in an ever-changing traditional and social media landscape.
* Ensure all multimedia content adheres to branding and communication policies and guidelines.
* Assist with coordination and maintenance of websites and social media content scheduling.
Selection Criteria
Essential:
* Experience in photography and videography and editing with a focus on producing fit-for-purpose digital content.
* Experience planning and implementing communication and digital video projects, including knowledge of stakeholder engagement, and targeting a diverse range of audiences.
* Well-developed organisational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting workloads, while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong creative skills and ability to express ideas clearly and articulately.
* Demonstrated competency using graphic and publishing programs (e.g. Canva and Adobe Creative Suite particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro).
* High level fluency in multi and social media and the use of records management and data systems to coordinate and track information flow.
* High level of adaptability and flexibility including the ability to manage pressure and change.
* High level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
* Ability to work out of hours and to travel when required.
Desirable
* Experience with drones and using aerial footage to produce compelling, creative, and innovative video content.
* Own camera and/or technical equipment, computer etc.
