Overview
As a Heavy Duty Fitter with NRW, you are responsible for supporting the onsite team in scheduled maintenance, workshop, diagnostics and breakdowns on a wide variety of surface mining equipment.
About the Site: Karara is the largest mining operation and the first major magnetite mine in the Mid-West. It produces a premium, high-grade concentrate product for export to steelmakers. With an expected life of 30+ years, it will underpin a long-term iron ore business and provide sustainable benefits to the regional community where we operate.

What we are looking for
- Australian Manual Drivers Licence
- Australian/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
- Tickets and licences EG: Forklift, Rigging, Crane, etc
- Minimum 3 years post trade experience (MEM)
- Experience with CAT 6060, CAT 793F Haul Trucks, HitachiEX5600 Excavators, Komatsu WA900-8 Loaders
- Demonstrated behaviours which align with NRW’s values and safety standards
- A “can do” attitude and strong team commitment
