About the Role
Working under the direction of the Practice Coordinator and consulting specialists, you'll deliver comprehensive nursing care across pre-operative education, procedure assistance, post-operative review, and surgical coordination. The role involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities, ensuring seamless, patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical support during consultations and minor gynaecological procedures.
* Coordinate surgical bookings, theatre lists, and patient communication.
* Educate and support patients throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
* Maintain sterile technique, manage consumables, and uphold infection control standards.
* Assist with administrative duties including patient management, scheduling, and documentation.
* Contribute to quality improvement, accreditation, and compliance processes.
Desirable Experience
* Background in women's health or gynaecology.
* Familiarity with medical software such as Gentu or Genie (training provided).
* Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
