Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Design & Technology Teacher to join our innovative and supportive faculty.
As a key member of the team, you will inspire students from Years 7-12 by teaching the fundamentals of design, technology, and practical skills.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a January start date.
Key Responsibilities: Teach Design & Technology across Years 7-12, including practical and theory-based subjects.
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where students feel empowered to explore and develop their creativity.
Deliver engaging lessons that foster problem-solving, innovation, and collaboration.
Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic and personal growth.
Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and career development opportunities.
About You: A qualified and passionate teacher with experience in Design & Technology at the secondary school level.
Ability to teach a range of topics including product design, engineering, graphics, and CAD software.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong rapport with students and staff.
A collaborative approach to teaching and willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student well-being.
Requirements: Must hold NESA accreditation
