Job Title: Environmental Health Officer
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Environmental Health Officer to join our team in supporting the City's Environmental Health Team. This role involves identifying, assessing, and managing public health risks while providing expert advice and education to stakeholders.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing moderately complex projects, contributing to strategic planning, and helping develop public health policies, programs, and events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Main Contact: Act as the primary point of contact for customers and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, accurate information, and timely resolution of enquiries and issues to deliver exceptional service.

* Reporting and Compliance: Prepare reports and recommendations on relevant legislation and policies, assess public health-related applications, and ensure compliance with environmental health legislation to maintain a safe and healthy community environment.
Requirements:
* Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Health or equivalent qualifications that afford eligibility for appointment as an authorised officer pursuant to the relevant State legislation.
* Certifications: National (or Federal) Police Clearance (no more than 6 months old).
