We have a great opportunity for an Operations Manager - Land Lease Communitiesbased in Queensland. This role reports directly to the General Manager, Queensland and leads a committed team nationally.
AVID's land lease communities business, Vantage, redefines lifestyle living for the over 50s. Our exclusive communities combine the security of home ownership with resort-style luxury, featuring premium facilities designed for active, independent living.
This role is pivotal in driving excellence within our Vantage resorts for both our team and our residents. We strive to deliver an experience offering tranquillity and connection through exceptional customer service.
In this role you will:
Key Responsibilities
* Champion and model our customer led culture, ensuring we bring more to life to all our residents
* Lead, develop and coach our community teams to deliver exceptional and consistent resident experience.
* Oversee financial performance through effective budgeting and cost management.
* Drive operational standards, compliance, and continuous improvement across all communities
* Manage and maintain effective relationships with residents, Home Owners Committees, service providers and regulators.
* Oversee risk and compliance governance across the portfolio in line with corporate governance requirements
* Influence strategy, lead change, and actively help to deliver new communities
About You
You will have:
* Proven experience leading large, geographically dispersed operations in the Land Lease Communities or Retirement sector.
* Strong commercial acumen.
* Strategic thinking capability with a track record of improving performance and customer experience.
* Ability to build collaborative, high performing teams through strong leadership and coaching
* Strong communication skills
* Genuine interest in creating community
* Ability to navigate complex issues, legislative requirements, and drive change.
