Visual Effects Shot Composition
We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Effects Compositor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for combining live action and computer generated elements into visually stunning shots that bring the client's vision to life.
* The ideal candidate will have experience working with live action plates, 2D tracking, matte extraction, layering elements, and colour grading to create seamless integrations.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as the compositing artist will work closely with other departments to ensure high-quality final products.
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines is crucial in this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Evaluate shot approaches with the Compositing Supervisor and VFX Supervisor to ensure quality and consistency.
* Create high-quality composite shots that maintain uniformity in all finished work.
* Collaborate with the team to determine aesthetic solutions and provide feedback on others' work.
* Mentor junior artists and assist them with their shots.
* Meet defined milestones within a timeline and contribute to creative problem-solving during dailies.
