Senior Electrical Engineer Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Substation Design. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for major electrical infrastructure projects.
Your primary focus will be on winning work and client relationships, project delivery, financial management, and people management & competency development.
You will have extensive experience in electrical engineering professional/technical primary or secondary substation design with experience of high voltage (400-500KVA). You will also possess strong engineering consulting and client management skills, experienced in the delivery of major and/or complex design projects.
As a leader, you will manage projects from strategic and detailed planning, concept, and detailed design. You will also demonstrate leadership and team management skills, ability to lead a small team of junior staff.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning to help shape the future. They will be degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
* Winning work and client relationships: responsible for achievement of revenue and relevant utilisation targets, developing client proposals and tenders in conjunction with Business Development.
* Project delivery: accountable for the overall success of all aspects of projects assigned by the Technical Director.
* Financial management: manage project profitability and financial contribution for projects allocated by the Technical Director.
* People management & competency development: responsible for the leadership, management, development, and motivation of a small team, ensuring the ongoing development of careers and competencies.
